Sudden death in Ha’apai [1]

A 30-year-old man from Halaleva, Tongatapu, died on Tuesday afternoon, September 11 after collapsing on the side of a road in Ha’afeva, Ha'apai, reportedly from a heart attack.

Police in Nuku’alofa said today, that he was walking home in the afternoon when he collapsed.

An inquest has ruled out any suspicious circumstances and that he suffered a heart attack.

His name has not been released by Police at this stage.

Meanwhile, his body is expected to be returned from the outer island to his family in Nuku’alofa.
