Shots fired in armed robberies at petrol stations [1]

Shots were fired at two petrol stations in Fanga and Veitongo early this morning, during two separate armed robberies.

Tonga Police confirmed shots were fired at both the petrol stations. One person was reportedly injured but no other details has been released at this stage. 

The shooting is reported to have first taken place at the Konifelenisi petrol station on Taufa'ahau Road, at Fanga, at around 3:00am followed by the shooting at Veitongo.

Other details are to be released soon by Tonga Police.
