Kurt Morath signed by Doncaster Knights [1]

‘Ikale Tahi fly-half Kurt Morath is travelling to England to play for the Doncaster Knights on a two-year contract. He leaves the United States where he has been playing professional rugby since 2016.
Thee 33-year-old said in a media statement this week that he and his family were looking forward to Doncaster.
Morath stated “I am really looking forward to joining Doncaster Knights for the upcoming season. I’ve heard the club is very family orientated, which is a great fit for my wife and our girls. I know the club are very ambitious and the supporters have high hopes for the new season."
"I will be aiming to perform to the best of my abilities in order to help the team to meet these expectations”, he added.
The Doncaster Knights compete in the RFU Championship, England’s second division tournament.
Morath has made 33 appearances for the Ikale Tahi and is currently Tonga’s all-time points scorer, collecting a record 340 points for the Kingdom since his debut for the ‘Ikale Tahi in 2009.
