Tu'ivakano case adjourned again [1]

Tongan noble and former Prime Minister, Lord Tu’ivakano had his case adjourned yet again to August 14.
The Magistrate’s Court office confirmed that the case was called in Chambers today, August 9 and was adjourned to be heard in Chambers again.
The case has been called and adjourned numerous times due to various reasons and requests from counsel.
Lord Tu’ivakano, who was arrested on March 1, is charged with 10 counts, including one of making a false declaration to obtain a passport, two perjury counts, five for accepting bribes and two counts of money laundering.
He is currently Tongatapu’s No. 1 Noble's Representative to Parliament.
