New CEO for Infrastructure [1]

Ringo Fa’oliu has returned as the new CEO for the Ministry of Infrastructure for four-years, starting on August 6.
He previously held this position from 2012-15.
The Public Service Commission said Ringo was first recruited to the public service in 1987 and has worked in various senior management and technical positions in government mainly the Ministry of Works, now known as the Ministry of Infrastructure.
He has 10 years experience in the Building Construction Industry in project and contract management in the private sector. Ringo was a National Project Engineer for the Tonga Renewable Energy Project, National Engineer Consultant for the Tonga Cyclone Ian Reconstruction Climate Resilience Project and an Engineering Consultant Technical Advisor for the Tonga Pacific Games Organizing Committee 2019. A Professional Member of the Institute of Engineers Australia, Ringo holds a New Zealand Certificate of Engineering (Civil), New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
