Japanese magician entertains children [1]

An 86-year-old amateur magician Max Watanabe is on a friendly visit to entertain young students in Tongatapu this week.

He performed at the Maamaloa Kindergarten today and at the inclusive class at Ngele’ia Primary School on July 27.

He will perform for the public at the Tongatapu Royal Agriculture Show on Saturday, July 28 before departing on that evening.

Watanabe, who has performed in over 100 countries, is delighted to visit for the first time and entertain some of the children of Tonga, said the Embassy of Japan in Nuku'alofa.

Arriving on July 25, his short visit is supported by the Japanese Embassy.
