UN Peacekeeping training for Tongan Marines [1]

Royal Tongan Marines who took part in a United Nations Multinational Peacekeeping training exercise in Mongolia will return home this week.

The more than 40 Royal Tongan Marines took part in the exercise which was held at Five Hills Training Center near Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, from August 11-24.

In a statement 2nd Lt. Amy Bombassaro of the Alaska National Guard said that the exercise was designed, "to improve multinational speed of response, mission effectiveness, interoperability and unity of effort."
