Tu’ivakano case adjourned to July 30 [1]

Tongan noble and former Prime Minister, Lord Tu’ivakano had his case adjourned to July 30 at the Fasi Magistrate’s Court.
The Magistrate’s Court office confirmed today that the case was called on June 25 and was adjourned yet again for the defence to complete filing their papers.
Lord Tu’ivakano who was arrested on March 1, was charged with 10 counts, including one of making a false declaration to obtain a passport, two perjury counts, five for accepting bribes and two counts of money laundering.
He is currently Tongatapu’s No. 1 Noble's Representative to Parliament.
