The 2018 Royal Agriculture, Fisheries, Tourism and Trade Show starts in Pangai, Ha’apai on Saturday, June 23 to be opened by King Tupou VI.

The show will be held on six islands where local food crops, export crops, fish, seafood, handicrafts and locally manufactured goods and services will be displayed.

After Ha'apai, the show continues to Vava’u on July 13, Niuatoputapu on July 18, Niuafo’ou on July 19, ‘Eua on July 25 before concluding in Tongatapu on July 28.

The annual event organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Forests and Fisheries (MAFFF) is to encourage the development of these sectors and in the interests of food security.

The King is celebrating his birthday on July 4 in Ha'apai.
