New Foreign Affairs Secretary [1]

Mahe ‘Uli’uli Tupouniua has been appointed as the Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nuku'alofa, for four-years starting on June 14.
He was recently Tonga’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York.
Tupouniua returns as Secretary of Foreign Affairs, a post he previously held in 2011 for two-years, stated the Public Service Commission.
Since entering public service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1990, he has served as Tonga’s Ambassador to China, United States and Cuba.
He holds a Master of Arts in Foreign Affairs and Trade from Monash University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, U.S and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland.
