Tu’ivakano’s case adjourned [1]

Tongan noble and former Prime Minister, Lord Tu’ivakano had his case adjourned again to June 25, to allow more time for his side to file a defence.
His case was adjourned for his counsel Clive Edwards to return from travel and file their response in regards to the substantial evidence served against him by the prosecution, said the lower court today.
Lord Tu’ivakano who was arrested on March 1, was charged with 10 counts, including one of making a false declaration to obtain a passport, two perjury counts, five for accepting bribes and two counts of money laundering.
He is currently Tongatapu’s No. 1 Noble's Representative to Parliament.
