I do not for one minute believe that the Tongans would forget their accustomed courtesy to representatives of other Pacific Island countries and stage public demonstrations while the Pacific Islands Forum is meeting in Nuku'alofa later this year. This rumour was spread in a Radio Australia report on the basis of one statement from 'Akilisi Pohiva, which I am sure he now regrets.
