Teen named in Vava’u crash [1]

Falanisi Taufa (16) was named as the victim of a car crash on Sunday June 3 at Fungamisi, Vava’u.

He was the driver of a vehicle that collided with a power pole. Police in Nuku'alofa said today that his body remains at the mortuary.

It was reported that speeding was a factor in the crash, which occurred at around 3:20pm.

The victim died instantly making it the 14th road fatality so far this year.
