Forty winners in a Mother’s Day draw by Western Union/Fexco Tonga received hampers full of food goodies worth $250 pa’anga, when the results were announced today.

Twenty mothers and a father in Tongatapu received their hampers from Lusitania Nakao Western Union Operations Manager at the head office in Nuku’alofa.

She said on behalf of CEO Robina Nakao and the company they were happy to celebrate Mother’s Day and give out the hampers to show their appreciation and thanks to their customers for using their service.

The winners expressed their joy and thanks for their mother’s day gifts.

Similar hampers will be handed out to winners on the outer islands, including 10 in Vava’u, four in Ha’apai, four for ‘Eua and one each for the two Niuas.

Customers who sent and received money in the period from April 23 to May 12 went into the Mother's Day Draw.

Tongatapu winners were Adimailakeba Finepolo, Tiana Talia’uli, Nunia Makahununiu, Natalie ‘Uta’atu, Siosi’ana Nau, Sosefina Fifita, ‘Umukisia Vatuvei, Soloa Fisi, Tu’itamanga Tu’ivai, Viliami Raass, Eleta Foliaki, Hulita Fili, Kilisitina Makaafi, Malia Vea, Linda Napa’a, Alesi Waqatairewa, Malia Havea, Sesika Tu’ivailala, Leotina Naniseni and Nolini Langi.
