A 38-year-old man died on Saturday night, May 12 when he crashed his car into a coconut tree at Kolonga.

Police said today he was travelling west on the main road when the crash occured at around 11:30pm.

Police believed that speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.

The victim who was living at Afa on the eastern district died instantly at the site of the crash.
