A 42-year-old man has been arrested after firing shots at occupants of a parked vehicle in Kolonga on May 10.

Acting Superintendent Semi Ve’ehala said today the shots were fired at around 6:30amin what is believed to be a drug related incident.

He said while police was looking into the circumstances of the shooting they also arrested a 25-year-old man, who was one of the occupants in the vehicle.

This was after police seized from his home an illegal firearm, ammunition and 36 grams of cannabis.

Both suspects are in custody while the investigation continues.

No one was injured in the shooting.
