The Jacksonville Jaguars have recruited New Zealand born linebacker Andrew Motuapuaka (22) of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is the son of Tongan immigrants Siaosi and Manu Motuapuaka.
Motuapuaka was signed as an undrafted “rookie” following the conclusion of the 2018 draft last week. He played his college football for Virginia Tech where he holds the school record for the fastest touchdown – scoring a touchdown only 8 seconds into a game via a fumble recovery in the opening kick-off.
Before moving to Virginia where he attended Salem High School, Motuapuaka lived in New Zealand and attended Wesley College in Auckland. His official form is 6’0 feet and 105 kilograms.
