Three arrested during TC Keni [1]

Three men were arrested last night, April 10 for alleged theft and drunk driving during a Police Operation for Tropical Cyclone Keni in Nuku’alofa.

Central Police District reported the three accused remain in custody.

The operation was activated at 7:00pm, where police districts were tasked to patrol the streets, to ensure people’s safety and properties.

At the same time, some power poles on the eastern district (Hahake) and on Vuna Road were down due to the cyclone.

No casualties have been reported.
