Tevita 'Ekuasi (21) from Kala'au is the man who remains missing at the Houma Blow Holes after jumping into the sea on Sunday, April 8.

A Tonga Police search and rescue boat searched the area and was called off on Sunday afternoon due to rough seas. The search remains halted due to Severe Tropical Cyclone Keni warning for Tonga.

Police today alleged that Tevita and another man Sione Toki (32) from Vaotu’u were drinking alcohol at the beach before jumping into the sea.

Sione drifted and was found alive on the coastline between Vaotu’u and Houma. While Tevita went missing.
