A 51-year-old man is in hospital at Pangai, Ha'apai after a man allegedly stabbed him on the head with a knife, during a fight on Tuesday afternoon, March 20.

Police today said the 38-year-old accused who is charged with grievous bodily harm remains in custody.

The fight is alleged to have taken place over a woman whom they are reported to have been seeing at the same time.

The victim is in a stable condition.

Investigation continues.
