Junior Fa wins 14th fight via Majority Decision [1]

Uaine Fa Jnr extended his undefeated record to 14 wins after beating Detroit fighter Craig Lewis via majority decision today in the town of Deadwood in South Dakota, United States. Most boxing commentators had Fa well ahead with a Unanimous Decision victory. Entering the fight, Craig Lewis held a record of 14 wins and 1 loss.
The official scorecard was (76 – 76 draw, 79 – 73 for Fa, 78 – 74 for Fa). The fight was largely controlled by Fa who forced Lewis into the ropes a number of times. Lewis was competitive and managed to land some solid jabs and body shots.
Junior Fa’s coach in the fight was Doug Viney, a former professional Kickboxer who represented Tonga in boxing at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
Meanwhile, Fa’s former arch rival Joseph Parker is preparing to face British champion Anthony Joshua on March 31 in London, England.
