No arrest has been made in relation to the homicide death of a couple in their early 50s who were found dead with stab wounds to their heads and necks on Sunday afternoon, February 25, at a bush allotment in Lakepa, Tongatapu.

A homicide investigation has started but no names and details have been released yet by Tonga Police.

However, the two victims, both Chinese nationals, are reported to have lived at Fanga. They earned a living by selling vegetables at Talamahu Market.

Police are still looking for the couple’s missing vehicle, a silver Toyota Sparky 2000, registration plate L16768.
