Man named in Office Equipment burglary [1]

Tevita Fifita (25) is named as the man arrested and charged in relation to the housebreaking and theft of more than $10,000 pa’anga at Office Equipment premises on January 6.

Police said today the accused from Fo’ui remains detained in custody pending court.

He was arrested at a bush allotment in Tatakamotonga on February 2 after police enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage from inside the building, confirmed him as the suspect. 

Search was also carried out at the place where he was arrested and found clothes that matched those worn by the burglar as identified from the security footage.
