Victim in stabbing murder named [1]

Tolifili Tu'alau (27) has been named as the victim who died after he was found with stab wounds on February 4, near a road at Fatai on Tongatapu.
Police said today his remains are held at the Vaiola Hospital mortuary.
Tolifili was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, at around 10:00pm.
A 32-year-old man from Te’ekiu has been charged with murder and was detained in custody to appear the Nukunuku Magistrate’s Court on February 8.
Police earlier reported that the accused and the deceased were allegedly drinking alcohol at a place in Te'ekiu, before the incident.
The deceased originated from Pea but was living at Va’otu’u.
