Toddler dies in tragic drowning [1]

A 3-year-old Tongan boy is reported to have passed away from drowning after he was pulled from a creek in the Gold Coast, Australia, on Saturday 27 January.

According to the Gold Coast Bulletin, the toddler was pulled out of a creek that he was seen swimming in shortly before. Paramedics attempted to resuscitate him but were unable to revive him.

The name of the toddler was not released.
