Atlanta Falcons re-sign Tani Tupou [1]

The Atlanta Falcons have re-signed Taniela “Tani” Tupou of Everett, Washington, to be under contract once the next NFL season begins. Tani is of Tongan descent with a Hawaiian mother and Tongan father.

The 25-year-old played as a defensive tackle for the University of Washington before being signed by the Seattle Seahawks in 2016. He was later signed by the Atlanta Falcons in 2017.

Atlanta’s super bowl ambitions came to an end last weekend after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles 15 – 10 in the playoffs of the NFL tournament.
