MPs to take oath of office Thursday Jan 11 [1]

The Legislative Assembly of Tonga will be opened tomorrow, Thursday 11 January 2018, at 10:30am, by a commission of three Nobles comprising of HSH Prince Tu’ipelehake, Lord Fakatulolo and Lord Luani.

The Ministry of Information posted a notice of the opening times on its website www.mic.gov.to [2] after 3:00pm today.

The Members of the Legislative Assembly will take their oath of office on the first sitting day of the Legislative Assembly, to be announced.

The  notice was issued by the Legislative Assembly of Tonga, and stated the Clerk, Gloria Pole’o will release details of the programme.
