Two men were charged with possession of cannabis when they were arrested on November 11, in Nuku'alofa.

Tonga Police today said a 22-year-old from Sopu and 25-year-old from Houmakelikao were arrested on another offence but when they were searched before being put in a cell at the Nuku’alofa Police station, 1.51 grams of cannabis was found on them.

They have been similarly charged with possession of the illicit drug pending a court appearance.
