The owner of Super Cheap, a closed car dealer in Tokomololo has been charged with obtaining money, reportedly $7,500 pa’anga by false pretence from a client.

The complainant, a 73-year-old man from Malapo is the latest case, after numerous people have filed similar complaints to police. He is reported to have visited the accused and deposited the cash for a car, which was to be delivered in July this year, but did not happen.

The accused was arrested and charged.

He had earlier been charged with similar offences on separate cases and is pending trial.
