A couple was arrested with cannabis and methamphetamine at a home in Kolomotu’a on October 26.

Acting Chief Superintendent Sisi Tonga said today, a search warrant was executed at 6:00am at the home where police seized five kilos of cannabis and 0.46 grams of methamphetamine.

A man (25) and his wife (36) have each been charged with possession of illicit drugs. They are released on bail to appear at the Magistrate’s Court at Fasi on Friday, November 3.

"The community can help stop the availability of illegal drugs by reporting suspicious activity to police. By working together we can make a difference and stop the crime and social harm associated with this illegal activity.”
