195 kava plants stolen in Vava'u [1]

195 kava plants worth $19,500 pa’anga were stolen from a plantation at Vaimalo in Vava'u on October 9.
The owner of the plants, a 34-year-old woman from Kameli, reported to police that she had discovered her kava had been uprooted from her plantation.
No one has been arrested yet, said a police spokesperson today.
