Heilala contestants dance Tau'olunga [1]

'Anaseini Kolo, the Miss Face of Tonga.

'Anaseini Kolo, the Miss Face of Tonga, won the Tau'olunga event. In second place was Nanise Finau Lavulavu, Miss J.L. Stonemason Ltd NZ. In third place was Soana Fifita, the Miss Tonga National Center (TVB), and in fourth place was Sina Nauahi, the Miss Black Pearl Suites.

There were also two special awards, the Best Traditional Costume was won by Miss Tonga National Center and the Best Contemporary Costume was won by Miss J.L. Stonemason Ltd NZ.

Each contestant also performed their own interpretation of a Tongan song of their choice.

The Miss Heilala Pageant continued today, July 4 with the float parade along Taufa'ahau and Vuna roads. The Miss Heilala contestants next appearance will be on July 6 for the sarong and talent judging category.

The final judging event will be the stage interview and best contemporary island creation, and the crowing of the new Miss Heilala for 2006-07 on July 7 at the ...‘Atele Indoor Stadium.
