Two new Government CEOs [1]

‘Emeline Tuita and Edgar Cocker have been appointed new Chief Executive Officers for two Government Ministries.
'Emeline is the CEO for the Ministry of Tourism, starting on September 15, for four-years. She was a former Consul for Tonga in San Francisco and Consul-General as well as Tonga's first Ambassador to China, among other roles.
Edgar takes up as CEO for the Ministry of Commerce, Consumer, Trade, Innovation and Labour, effective on October 30 for the same four-year duration, announced the Public Service Commission today.
He was formerly a Director for Tourism, who started his a career in the private sector in various positions. He is a businessman and is currently completing a consultancy for the Ministry of Commerce on PACER Plus, before taking up this appointment.
