Man assaulted in Pea robbery [1]

A male suspect was arrested by police for allegedly beating up and robbing a 32-year-old man of Asian origin on September 5, at Pea.

The robbery took place at a shop, around 4:00am when the two men turned up and beat the victim demanding cash.

Police reported the victim had no cash on him, only two mobile phones, an iPhone 6 and Samsung, which the thieves took.

One male suspect has been arrested while the other remains at large. The police investigation continues.
