Police investigate baby death in bucket of water [1]

A 13-month-old baby girl is alleged to have drowned after being found in a bucket of water at a home in Ma’ufanga on Monday afternoon, August 21.

The baby died before reaching Vaiola Hospital, and we are waiting on the medical report to confirm the cause of death, said a police spokesperson this afternoon.

No more details were released. Investigation continues.
