Police have arrested a man who works at the airport in relation to a complaint of theft filed by a passenger who had arrived from New Zealand.

The suspect worked for the Airport Terminal Service and is alleged to have stolen money from luggage he was uploading into a domestic aircraft. Police stated that the complainant was traveling to Vava’u when alleged theft took place.
