Rev Dr ‘Ahio re-elected FWC President [1]

Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga President Rev Dr 'Ahio and Rev Dr Tevita Koloa’ia Havea.

Rev Dr 'Ahio was re-elected as the President of the Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga during the 94th Free Wesleyan Church Annual Conference on Wednesday, June 28 in Neiafu, Vava’u.

The conference re-elected him as President with 309 votes. He was first elected in 2009.

Rev Dr Tevita Koloa'ia Havea was also re-elected as the FWC General Secretary with 292 votes.

The conference was opened on Thursday June 29, by HM King Tupou VI.

The King’s birthday will also be celebrated on the outer island on 4 July.
