The two- day celebrations, June 3 and 4 was hosted by the Tonga Embassy. There was a cultural day on June 3 at the Theatre Island Center, New York City, where the guest of honor Princess Mele Siu...ilikutapu Fotofili delivered the key note address, followed by traditional dances performed by representatives of various Tongan communities.
On Sunday June 4, a Prayer Service was held at the Lexington United Methodist Church in New York City.
