Men arrested for electronics theft in Fasi [1]

Two men have been arrested for the housebreaking and theft of around $25,520 pa’anga worth of electronics at a shop in Fasi.
Tonga Police arrested a 27-year-old and 16-year-old from Halaleva on Wednesday, June 21.
The theft took place on 10 June when they allegedly stole mobile phones and other electronics from the office and electronic equipment shop. Some of the stolen goods have been recovered.
Both accused remain in custody as investigation continues, said a police spokesperson today.
