Petroleum and LPG prices fall [1]

The price of petroleum and gas has fallen effective today, Friday 16 June 2017, due to a decrease in the price of crude oil. The freight rate and Tongan Pa’anga have also been steady contributing to the drop in prices.
The retail price for petrol and diesel is 249.53 seniti/litre and 244.65 respectively, and kerosene is 166.23 seniti/litre.
LPG prices also decreased slightly by 02 seniti/kg for Tongatapu but increased by 15 seniti/kg for Vava’u, as approved by the TCA.
The retail price of gas for Tongatapu is now $4.08 per kilo and for Vava’u $4.24 per kilo for June – August 2017.
