A 26-year-old man remains in custody after he was arrested in relation to possession of methamphetamine on Friday night, June 9 in Nuku’alofa.

Police said the accused from Ma'ufanga was arrested from one of the bars and that a search of the man and his vehicle had allegedly found one packet of methamphetamine, drugs paraphernalia, electronic devices, 104 air gun bullets and cash.

He remains in custody while the police investigation is still ongoing. No other details was released at this stage.
