HM King Tupou VI will open the 2017-2018 parliamentary session on Thursday morning, June 1 at Parliament House.

The first business the House will deal with is to reply to the King’s opening address.

First up on the agenda is debate on the National Budget before parliamentarians tentatively schedule their visit to their constituencies from July 10-21.

Secondary school children from throughout Tongatapu would march to mark this event.
