Methamphetamine packs seized, men arrested [1]

Two men were arrested at a home in Kolomotu’a last week in possession of methamphetamine or "ice", during a search warrant executed by Tonga Police

On Wednesday, May 17, a 45-year-old man from Nukunuku was arrested in possession of one pack of methamphetamine of .40 grams.

Another 35-year-old man from Kolomotu'a was arrested in possession of six packs of methamphetamine weighing 3.46 grams.

Both accused have been similarly charged with possession of the illicit drug.

They are expected to appear at the Nuku'alofa Magistrate’s Court this week.
