Utah police seek Sione Vaitai, after stabbing [1]

Utah Police are looking for Sione Vaitai (26), of Tongan descent. He is accused of stabbing his father and sister with a kitchen knife two days ago at their home in Sandy City, Utah, USA. Both the victims were taken to hospital in critical condition following the incident, but are now in stable condition.

According to Utah Police, the incident occurred on a Friday night, May 13, during a domestic dispute. Sione allegedly obtained a large kitchen knife and attacked his father and sister. Vaitai fled the scene before police arrived.

Police said that he was last seen driving a white 2009 Chevy Silverado with Utah license plate X384BF, and that the vehicle has extended side walls built out of wood in the bed of the truck.

Police have warned the public not to approach Vaitai, who stands 6-feet tall and weighs about 300 pounds.
