Police are investigating a male police officer whose vehicle allegedly crashed into a fence and power pole early Monday morning, 10 April on Hihifo Road.

Deputy Commissioner Pelenatita Fe’ao Vaisuai said they had received reports, that this police officer was driving his own vehicle heading west on Hihifo Road near Telekava cemetery, when it collided with a fence and a power pole at around 2:00am.

“We can confirm that no other vehicles were involved in the accident. The investigation continues.”

No other details was released by Police at this stage.
