The Dallas Cowboys have signed Stephen Paea on a one-year contract. Paea agreed to the contract last Friday as announced by the Dallas Cowboys.

The 28-year-old Stephen Paea was raised in Vava'u, moving with his family to the United States when he was 16. Paea has being playing professional football since he was drafted by the Chicago Bears in 2011. Throughout his career Paea has played for the Chicago Bears (2011 - 2014), Washington Redskins (2015) and Cleveland Browns (2016).

Paea will be playing under the direction of Rod Marinelli, ironically the same defensive coordinator he played for when he started for the Chicago Bears. 

“I love the game and I just want to help out the team", Paea said in a media release from the Dallas Cowboys.

“It’s been a rollercoaster ride for me in my career, and obviously going back to where I started from with Rod Marinelli, there’s nothing better than that,”
