Tonga's official Foreign Reserve in March fell to its lowest level in 17 months.

The National Reserve Bank of Tonga reported on April 10 that the Foreign Reserve fell by $5 million from $82.4 million in February to $77.4 million in March. During the same month last year the Foreign reserve was $80.9 million.

Tonga's current Foreign Reserve of $77.4 million is estimated to be equivalent to 4.2 months of import of goods.
