Tonga Police have arrested and detained in custody three men who are alleged to have committed separate sexual offences against two young girls and a teenager in Tongatapu over the past week.

A 24-year-old man charged with rape and indecent assault of an 18-year-old girl at Ha’akame on November 5, remains in custody.

Another  man who has been charged with indecently assaulting two young girls aged 10 and 4 years old at Kolomotu’a on November 7, remains in police custody.

Another case was reported on November 11 at Houmakeliko when a man allegedly threatened a 12-year girl with a knife and allegedly indecently assaulted her.

He has been charged with indecent assault and remains in police custody.
