The submissions for a Judicial Review, challenging the amendment of Clause 7 of the Tongan Constitution ended in Nuku'alofa this afternoon. The Judicial Review is the first time ever for an amendment to the Tongan Constitution to be challenged in court.

Chief Justice Webster announced that he will deliver his decision in four weeks time. Because of pressure of other court cases, the Chief Justice said he needed more time to make his decision.
