Masked intruder robs shopkeeper on Sunday [1]

Police are looking for an intruder who broke into a shop at Kolofo’ou and tied up a 24-year-old Chinese man before stealing goods and $3,000 pa'anga cash on Sunday morning, 18 September.
 
The complainant reported to police that the robbery occurred at around 10:00am when a masked man broke into his shop where he also lived and threatened him.

He told police that the male intruder tied him up with a rope before stealing the cash and various goods from the shop.

The complainant managed to get help to get out of the ropes, before going to the Central Police Station to report the crime.

"We are investigating the circumstances and details of the robbery," said a police spokesperson today.
